Your Journey Into Darkness

Where Shadows Dance and Dreams Take Flight

Midnight Dining

Midnight Dining

Look, we're not gonna pretend this is your average hotel restaurant. The Enchanted Bar opens when the moon's high, and honestly? That's when things get interesting. Candlelight everywhere, shadows playing tricks on the walls, and our chef's doing things with food that'd make your grandmother clutch her pearls.

We've got cocktails that literally smoke and change colors - yeah, it's a bit theatrical, but you came to a gothic fantasy hotel, didn't you? The menu changes with the seasons and the chef's mood, which keeps things exciting. Last month we had a "Vampire's Feast" night and people went absolutely wild for it.

  • Candlelit atmospheric dining
  • Craft cocktails with theatrical flair
  • Live ambient music on weekends
  • Seasonal tasting menus
Dark History Tours

Dark History Tours

Alright, so Vancouver's got stories. Dark ones. We're talking about the stuff they don't teach in history class - the weird, the creepy, the downright unsettling. Our guide Marcus has been researching this city's shadows for 15 years, and trust me, he knows where all the bodies are buried. Figuratively. Mostly.

Tours leave twice nightly from our lobby, and we'll take you through parts of Vancouver most tourists never see. Haunted theaters, forgotten graveyards, sites of unsolved mysteries - it's like peeling back the city's skin to see what's underneath. Not for the faint-hearted, but then again, neither are you if you're staying here.

  • 90-minute guided walking tours
  • Expert local historians as guides
  • Access to restricted historical sites
  • Complimentary lantern provided
Mystery Game Nights

Mystery Game Nights

Every Friday and Saturday, we turn the Grand Hall into something special. Murder mysteries, escape room challenges, interactive theater - you name it, we've probably tried it. Last week we did a Victorian-era whodunit and three couples almost got into actual arguments about who the killer was. That's how you know it's working.

You'll be paired with other guests, given a character to play, and thrown into scenarios that'll test your detective skills and your poker face. Wine flows freely, clues are everywhere, and by the end of the night you'll either have made new friends or new enemies. Sometimes both.

  • Interactive murder mystery games
  • Professional actors as hosts
  • Prizes for winning team
  • Light refreshments included
Spa Sanctuary
04

Wellness Sanctuary

Yeah, we know - a spa in a gothic hotel sounds contradictory. But here's the thing: darkness can be healing too. Our Wellness Sanctuary is all about embracing the shadows, finding peace in the stillness. Dim lighting, soundproof rooms, treatments that use ancient herbs and modern science in equal measure.

We've got this thing called the "Raven's Rest Massage" that'll absolutely wreck you in the best way possible. Uses hot obsidian stones and oils infused with lavender and sage. People book months in advance for it. The salt cave meditation room is another favorite - 45 minutes in there and you'll forget what stress even feels like.

  • Signature gothic-inspired treatments
  • Himalayan salt cave meditation
  • Couples' sanctuary suites
  • Organic herbal tea lounge

Gothic Weddings & Events

So you wanna get married surrounded by candles, velvet drapes, and maybe a few gargoyles? You've come to the right place. We've hosted everything from full-blown vampire-themed weddings to corporate events for companies that wanted something different from the usual boring ballroom setup.

Our event coordinator Sarah's got connections with the best gothic florists, photographers who specialize in moody lighting, and caterers who can make food that's both delicious and visually dramatic. She once arranged a wedding where the couple arrived in a horse-drawn hearse. The photos were absolutely stunning, and yeah, that's become a popular request now.

  • Grand Hall capacity: 200 guests
  • Dedicated event planning team
  • Custom gothic decor packages
  • In-house catering and bar service
VR Medieval Adventures

VR Medieval Adventures

Okay, this is where we get really cool. State-of-the-art VR setup in what we call the Portal Chamber - basically you put on the headset and suddenly you're in a medieval fantasy world. Fighting dragons, exploring haunted castles, solving ancient puzzles. It's ridiculously immersive.

We've got single-player campaigns and multiplayer quests where you can team up with other guests. Fair warning though - we've had people literally fall over because they forgot they were in a hotel room and not actually on a castle battlement. It's that good. Sessions run about 45 minutes and we've got six different scenarios to choose from.

  • Latest VR technology
  • Multiple medieval scenarios
  • Solo and group experiences
  • Professional tech support on-site

Shadowvorn Experience

Ready to Step Into the Shadows?

Listen, life's too short for boring vacations. You can stay at a generic hotel anywhere, but how many places let you explore haunted history, dine by candlelight, fight virtual dragons, and get a massage with obsidian stones - all in one weekend?

We've built something unique here at Shadowvorn. It's not for everyone, and honestly, we're cool with that. But if you're reading this and feeling that little spark of excitement, that "yeah, this sounds like my kind of place" feeling - then you need to book a stay.

Our experiences book up fast, especially on weekends and during the fall season. Don't wait until everything's sold out and you're stuck on some boring resort's waitlist. Call us, email us, or use the booking widget below. We'll take care of the rest.
